C.H.A.O.S. (Christ Has All Our Solutions) Youth Ministry - Junior High and Senior High (Grades 6th-12th)

At The Journey, we are interested in creating an environment that will allow your youth to grow in the knowledge of God on their level. We are working toward building long lasting relationships between youth and Christ, along with strong Christian friendships with others their age. CHAOS Youth Ministry follows along with the Sunday morning teachings so that the youth may come to a full understanding of the teachings in a manner that relates to them directly. Thus, giving them more opportunities to understand and relate the message to their daily lives and friends.  

When and where do we meet:

CHAOS Youth currently meets at the Lebanon Campus on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm and at the Hartsville Campus on Thursdays at 6:30 pm. They normally finish around 8:00 pm.

What to expect:

Starting at 6:30 pm we allow the youth to come in and socialize. We provide food, music and fellowship leading up to our service time, which is 7:00 pm.  At this time we begin with games and ice breakers leading up to our teaching time. From 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm is a time where youth have the opportunity to learn more about Christ and more about who they are in Him. During this time we allow the youth to ask questions, have discussions, as well as break off into smaller groups to allow for a more comfortable experience. Once the service is over we allow the youth to mingle around afterwards till around 8:30 pm.  

Leadership Team:

We are a Youth Ministry focused on directing youth in the direction of Christ and His teachings. For that reason we have formed a “team” not just one minister. This allows The Journey to minister to all walks and not just focus on one particular youth at a time. Our team consists of Andrea Dillard, Jessica Waggoner, and Josh Waggoner.
